April …. great time to travel with minimal queueing in the Valley of the Kings.

Well worth the 3:00am wake-up call.
Honestly…the best ships on the Nile…smaller, cleaner (exhaust) and faster.
The side trip to Abu Simbel was worth the additional cost.

Amazing sights and sounds on the Nile…only four Egyptian Pounds Mr.
The Treasury at Petra (approx.1,000 people that day in April against the usual 40,000 in peak times).
If you can, make the hike up to the Monastery at Petra…it is vast and worth the climb.
